Netcraft Plus

Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Netcraft Plus (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information in connection with your use of the Netcraft Plus mobile application (the “Service”). The Service is designed exclusively for authorized computer club owners to remotely access operational data for their establishments.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Information Collection

Information You Provide:

Telephone Number: We collect your mobile telephone number to authenticate your identity as a pre-authorised club owner. Access is granted solely upon verification that your number exists on our secured access list.

SMS Verification Code: During the authentication process, you may provide a one-time code sent via SMS to complete the login procedure.

Information Collected Automatically:

Device Identifier (Android ID): We collect your device’s Android ID to facilitate secure, automatic re-login on your recognised device, enhancing user convenience.

Usage Data: We automatically record technical log information, including timestamps of your login and logout sessions, for security monitoring, access auditing, and service improvement.

Authorisation Data: The system stores the unique codes of the clubs you are authorised to manage, as determined by our central verification system.

3. Use of Information

We use the collected information solely for the following legitimate business purposes:

To verify your identity and authorisation as a registered club owner. This is necessary for the performance of our contract with you to provide the Service.

To enable secure, automatic authentication on your previously used device. This is based on our legitimate interest in improving user experience and security.

To fetch, process, and display real-time computer status and financial report data only for the clubs you are authorised to manage. This is necessary for the performance of our contract with you.

To maintain system security, prevent fraudulent access, and troubleshoot technical issues. This is based on our legitimate interest in protecting our service and users.

To communicate with you regarding critical service updates or security notices. This is based on our legitimate interest and is necessary for the performance of our contract.

4. Data Storage & Security

Storage Locations & Duration:

On Your Device: A secure, local cache (using Android’s SharedPreferences) stores your user ID and club list to improve performance. This data is cleared upon logout or app uninstallation.

In the Cloud (Google Firebase): The following anonymised profile is stored in Google Firebase Firestore to manage your authenticated session: an internal user identifier, your hashed device identifier (Android ID), the list of authorised club codes, session timestamps (first_login, last_login, last_logout), and account status (is_active).

Data Retention: We retain your cloud profile data for as long as your account remains active. Data may be anonymised or deleted following a prolonged period of account inactivity.

Security Measures:
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:

Encryption: All data transmissions between the App and our servers use HTTPS/TLS encryption.

Access Control: A multi-layered permission system ensures you can only request data for clubs explicitly linked to your verified phone number. Final access control is enforced by our backend server.

Infrastructure Security: We rely on Google Firebase, a platform adhering to robust global security and compliance standards.

5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We utilise the following third-party service providers to operate the Service:

Google Firebase: We use Firebase services for authentication (via SMS), cloud data storage (Firestore), and crash reporting (Crashlytics). Google’s processing of data is governed by their Privacy Policy.

Telecommunications Providers: To deliver SMS verification codes, your phone number is processed by your mobile network operator.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Information may only be disclosed if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ourselves or others.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. You can exercise the following choices directly:

Access & Review: You can review your registered phone number and authorised clubs within the App’s interface.

Data Deletion: You can initiate the deletion of your cloud-stored authentication link at any time by using the “Logout” function within the App. This action severs the link between your phone number and device ID in our cloud database. For a complete account deletion request, please contact us.

Opt-Out: You may stop using the Service at any time. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally cached data.

To exercise other rights (such as correction, portability, or objection to processing), please contact us using the details in Section 8.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our cloud service providers operate. We ensure all such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws by relying on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

8. Contact Information

For any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please contact our data representative at:
Email: info@netcraftplus.com
We will respond to all legitimate enquiries within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, service features, or legal requirements. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email where appropriate.

This document constitutes the complete and exclusive Privacy Policy for the Netcraft Plus application. All previous versions are superseded.
